so, its pretty rough and by far not complete but this is a rough layout for the map of destiny (my zelda fancomic), i mainly took it after skyward sword but added parts of botw into it (like lanayru street, the twin mountains that were one mountain until ch3, the gerudo highlands, akkala ref; among more general map overlap)

this ones with some super rough chapter markers and some descriptions, the circle doesnt mean the chapter doesnt go to multiple places but the main happening of it is there, its again, pretty rough and lacks the correct order yet too, ill prob add that with time as i write out the scripts for the next chapters, so far i got the order until chapter 6 (chapter 4 is mostly at hylias temple and since there are alot of chapters happening there its not marked seperately)

chapter 1: demon (complete)

chapter 2: a dance of ice and fire (script done)

chapter 3: moving mountains (name not final)

chapter 4: starry night

chapter 5: a wound for a wound (placeholder name)

chapter 6: curiosity (possibly placeholder name, forgot to mark it on the map even tho i know where it goes)

most other chapters i know where and whats happening but i cant remember the exact order, i gotta make a structured chapter chart soon so i dont have to think over everything every single time i need the order

this is probably not very interesting but, even tho it is just a rough layout more for myself than anything else, i thought id share anyway, i know my handwriting when i write fast and tired is hard to read but uh .. feel free to send me an ask about it if theres anything youd like to know (do mention if you are ok with spoilers for the story)

Hear me out guys, hear me out. The swords are fused with their hands or arms, probably arms. The reason you die if it breaks, or if you drop it, is because of blood loss. Like. The swords are a PART of them.

I dunno I just wanted there to be a reason on why they almost never swap to a different slot in the hotbar. Cause it was sort of maybe bugging me the entire time. Itty bit.

jon's "ice and fire" parentage argument for him to be TPtwp needs to die already:

George R. R. Martin to Adria's News: I mean… Fire is love, fire is passion, fire is sexual ardor and all of these things. Ice is betrayal, ice is revenge, ice is… you know, that kind of cold inhumanity and all that stuff is being played out in the books.

No house, no human, no fucking living sentient creature is "ice". It is literally the antithesis of it. They are all encapsulated under "fire" because it represent life. House Stark with its hot temperament "the wolf blood", the ones to "endure" winter, to be the North's Warden IS a flame, an ember, a part of that fire that burns against the Ice. More so than any other andal house, less so than any valyrian one.

You would have more a leg to stand on was your argument that Jon has been touched by ice as he has died but will be brought back but I guess that doesn’t make Jon ✨️special✨️ enough for numerous characters have been brought back; Beric, Catelyn, Drogo, Patchface, etc...

The Jon-is-asoiaf clowns are also the same ones to turn the goody snowflakes/grrm gift to the world/the most oppressive uwu puppies the Starks into Ice, the literal evil of this world, and the same ones who proclaim fire is as bad as ice, two extremes the world must be delivered of when talking about Daenerys but suddenly being the product of these extremes is the solution if its Jon. The brain gymnastics are on Simone Biles's level of wild. 🤡

the thing is that Dorian told Orym that he didn't have to save everyone. But it was too little too late, now wasn't it? (I'm not blaming Dorian for that. I'm just saying)

By the time Dorian tells him that he has already sold his future. He's already thought extensively how to kill his entire family if he has to. He's tied in so many knots.

Then he keeps getting hit by these freak outs. Chetney gave him a scar across his face. Letters went after him first. Laudna attacked him then proceeded to gaslight the absolute shit out of him for defending himself.

He sold away his future for these people and they couldn't be bothered to ask him about the deal he made with Nana Morri. Ashton stood between Laudna and Orym. Defending Laudna. And no one stood beside Orym. No one got in between them in defense of Orym.

They hovered. Dorian said Orym should keep the sword. Chetney told Laudna that Orym lost more than the rest. But when Orym started back tracking. When he started to second guess himself. NO ONE fought for what he wanted. NO ONE told him it was okay to want to keep the sword and that he should if it was important to him.

Orym is constantly bending. He is constantly being the bigger person. He has forgiven so much and the poor thing is falling apart at the seams about it. It just isn't fair. He is getting the brunt of the damage because he's a tiny tank. He's constantly goading enemies to attack him and not anyone else.

And idk whens the last time he breathed. The last time he relaxed. When's the last time he felt truly safe with the people around him? Because he was sleeping in an inn surrounded by the people closest to him and he felt his life force being sucked away from him

IDK I just think orym deserves a nap and another spa day. I JUST THINK ORYM DESERVES EVERYONE GATHERING AROUND AND SAYING EXACTLY WHAT THEY LOVE ABOUT HIM AND HOW HE MEANS SO MUCH TO THEM AND THE GROUP

personally i think it's really sweet that there are a handful of moments across the show's lifespan where whenever Something Scary happens, mike's instinct is always to reach out to those near him. when max scares the party on halloween night, mike reaches his hands out for dustin and lucas's packs. when dart starts moving in his enclosure, he motions for will to move back and proceeds to protect him the entire rest of the time. when lucas gets billy off of him and starts moving back, mike immediately puts an arm around his shoulders and reels him in. when the mind flayer flesh monster breaks into the cabin, there's a split second moment when mike's arm is reaching back to will. when the lenora house gets shot up, we get to see mike hold will back twice, too. i just think it's such a sweet trait of his—he really is a protector, a knight in shining armor through and through. not just a paladin in some fantasy game, but in real life, too. :')

Will say though I’m an ardent King Arthur defender in as much as that he’s a perfect example of someone who’s corrupted by a culture of violence. Sweet kid who just wants to help his older brother succumbs to violent paranoia and sees the world around him dissolve at his fingertips. The more he tries to fight, the more his fate is sealed. Quality tragedy right there, even if that’s not what the medieval authors originally intended most likely.

Somewhere within the Idylls-to-Vulgate gradient lies the perfect characterization of Arthur, personally.
